Mine been on the cabinet for well over a year now and holding strong!
I actually used the coral feeder to move a small rock on the sand bed. When I moved it I saw the worm and sucked it into the coral feeder. It attempted to get away but I got luck!
The GoPro video hasn't been uploaded just yet. I recorded a lot of video and will probably add onto that, I need to cut it down a lot!

Dealing with @Hanna Instruments was a breeze! Emailed them, received an RMA, shipped just my checker back to them. They sent me an entire kit! I delayed on emailing them and shipping it back, so it was nearly a month with no alk checks. Today it was down to 7.5. Warming up 5 gallons of water in the garage for water change tomorrow. Been a month or more since I’ve done a water change. Will also adjust the balling method dosage accordingly to raise all to 8.5 range.

The cleaner shrimp may be the most fascinating life in my reef tank. Compared to the fish in my tank the cleaner shrimp are nearly always visible!

For those of us that have been in saltwater at all we know the specifics of water changes. Using good clean water, heating the water up, adding salt, testing salinity and matching our current tank parameters. I came from the freshwater side where water changes were simple, drain 90% of the water add some dechlorinator, run a hose into the tank and fill it up!
Doing water changes in a saltwater tank is a little more intensive, and a lot easier than most people think. I've done my best to explain how I do it in the video below.

pelphrey, what flow % and rpm's do you have your COR running at? Do you have the flow sensor on it? What's your GPH?

Cor is running at 55% - Keep in mind the reefer tank runs the herbie drain. So I could increase the flow, I am also running a manifold and the COR supplies my reactor with matrix and my algae turf scrubber with flow. I am not running a flow sensor, I bought a 1" flow sensor at the end of last year. I ended up getting rid of it. My plumbing is really tight and I didn't want attempt using the sensor with the bulkheads.

Spent some time on the tank yesterday. Took one of the gyres off and simply ran it in vinegar water, I didn't take it apart this time. Just used a brush to help clean it a little more! Took the Aquamaxx SX reactor off the tank for a cleaning. I run pond matrix in the reactor and clean it 2-3 times a year. Since I used a true union ball valve it really helps with removal! I do run pond matrix in the filter sock replacement canisters so it has crossed my mind to remove the reactor completely. Because my sump is so small the reactor takes up some space and I don't want to remove the reactor for simple tasks like running or pulling cables when needed. Lastly I glued 2 small pieces of rock together to create a mini island. I want more real estate lower in the tank for hammers or torches. Unfortunately the rock is pristine white and stands out like a sore thumb, so I'll have to get some corals on it quickly... Maybe!
Looking good Pelphrey! Nice colors on your corals. Wish I could keep my sump as clean as yours. Lol. I just did a vinegar bath on my skimmer. It needed it bad. That rock will color up soon enough.
