I'm having a hard time figuring out what types of fish I can safely keep in my system with 4" DSB. I'm particularly interested in some kind of blenny; I would really like to get a couple Barnacle Blennies. Can someone offer sone insight into this subject for me. Thanks

I used Natures Ocean 0.5 - 1.7mm. I've added worms, bugs, brittle and serpent stars. The bed is about 5 months old and appears to be coming along nicely. Thanks for the links; I may order some more worms and bugs

Avoid jawfish and engineer gobies. Other than that most fish that do anything to the sand do so at the top layer, not the deeper regions.

Barnacle blennies prefer holes in the rocks vs those in the sand, so they will be fine. As will most other fish.

I've had both a Midas and a Green Canary Blenny at different times, both found homes in the Pukani.

My DSB is 6 months old now and has never been disturbed; I'm wondering what caused this hydrogen sulfide spot. I'm hoping that there is enough life to process it. Is this normal, or should I be worried?
