So I'm considering getting the aquaticlife t5 hybrid light since I alrdy have 3 kessils with the setup I bought. My tank is a 6' 180 gallon. Do I need to get the 61 inch fixture or can I get away with the 48?

Depends what you’re trying to grow if you want wall to wall sps get the 61” it will blanket every inch of the tank with light. If you’re only trying for lps or sps in the middle lps on the sides low then 48” is fine. Those are awesome fixtures btw

I would get the 5' fixture. I run a 4' T5 over my 125, and it's a little dim on the ends. I already had the fixture, so I just used it. Although your eye can't really tell the difference, the corals on the ends need to be brains, acans, etc on the ends in my tank. Of course, if you can slide the LEDs all the way down, that may work just fine.
