MA Reefer250

I finally found your thread again!
Welcome back bud! I was hiding it from you. Well everyone really.... Tanks have been on the back burner for months. Off the stove completely really but im starting to get some of my time back.

I plan to document this next build right.

Nice!!! I can’t wait to see the new tank setup!
Its been a long time coming. Getting the pics yesterday from CDAquarium kind of stoked the fire some so Im sure once it arrives ill be ready to get after it!

That's what my Waterbox is.
Yeah, i debated going with waterbox or SCA but would have wound up changing a few things had I gone with them. I found CDAquariums out of SoCal and was able to piece it together A la carte style getting exactly what i was looking for.
It looks to be built like a tank!

Final water tests in the Reefer 250 as Well get ready to break it down and start anew. These numbers comfirm Ive been suffering from a serious case of Lazy Reefer Syndrome. Alk is up from the 7 DKH I tested last Sunday.

Nitrate 30
Phosphate .51
Alk 8.6
Calcium 425

The weird thing is I have only been cleaning my glass but once every two weeks. Hasnt needed it.

Sometimes balances are unexpected.
Its definitely unexpected but I like it! I went on vacation 1st week in August. Came home and just never got back into a maintenance groove.

Before i realized it weeks had passed w/o me doing anything but top off and it looked good so i kept hands off. Glad I caught my empty dosing containers when I did but they were probably empty for a week or more.

Rebuild starts somewhere around 10/12 so im trying to match paramters in other tanks that will hold some corals during transfer. Little did i know im all over the map!!!

Let the breakdown begin! Final FTS though I already pulled some coral over the last couple weeks.

I hope you have help...
My gal is here but mostly just an extra pair of hands when I need them... She'll be able to help me move the old tank out but the new one is way to heavy for the two of us. Will be waiting on a couple of friends for that.

Repurposed the sump to hold rock and will be pulling the skimmer out of that one tub. Just wanted to clear up some debris. I expected this to be a long endever and being that this is my first ever transfer I'm sure I'll lose a few things...
