I am under the impresson that there is a quarantine procedure to lower salinity to a point where ich and velvet, and maybe other problems, can no longer survive. Does anybody have the facts? Thank you.

Just an FYI: Hyposalinity does work for Ich and Flukes, but does not work for velvet and Brooklynella, though Jay often says that true marine velvet is rare, and Brook isn't as much of a concern when buying captive bred clownfish, as opposed to wild caught fish.
