Hey guys,

I just joined R2R and I'm really glad I found this forum. It has already provided me with information and inspiration, and the community appears to be great as well.

About Myself
I currently live in Huntington Beach, California. I'm married with two children in their teens, along with 4 Miniature Schnauzers and 3 Aquariums. 2 of the Aquariums are Fresh Water and were the beginning of my Aquarium Hobby. I have wanted to get into Salt-Water Aquariums for a while but felt intimidated. However, after spending months learning and watching YouTube videos (I love watching BRS TV and Mr. Saltwater Tank TV), I finally made the plunge. I'm setting up my first Reef Tank, and it's coming along nicely.

For a career, I work in the entertainment industry as a Software Engineer in Video Games. I work for a large company, and it's the reason I moved my family to California in the first place. We've been out here for 7 years now.

Reef-A-Palooza is coming up this weekend. Perhaps I'll see some of you there.

Cheers :)

Welcome. Wonder if you could get a scientific collectors license and start a tank with local stuff.
