Po4 = .02
Salt = 1.025
Don’t know No3, need a good test kit, what’s the best?

I recently had a Po4 spike to .16 and lost a couple of acro’s and seems to have slowed most sps growth somewhat. Everything is doing better but not growing as fast it was yet.

You can tell when I closed the windows and kicked on the ac yesterday lol. I need to change my ph answer apparently!

My wife hates me. In the fish room, I run a window unit AC and crack the window. I also keep the room full of plants. But still can’t get above 8.2 at the highest. Stays around 8.

P04- 0-0.1
N03- 15-20 ppm
Ph- 8.0-8.2
Alk- 7.6 and steady
Calc- 420
Mag- 1320
Salinity- 1.025

Tank mostly SPS.
I love these parameters. So many people when asking for help here post 0 ammonia, NO3, PO4. Perfect Alk, Ca, Mg. While your params aren’t what are considered perfect, I’d actually call them flawless.

Ca ~410 (390 to 420... ish)
Alk 8.3 - 8.6 ... Finally! Dosing kalk stabilized the system after months of struggling.
Mg. ~1300
*Nitrate 0
*Phosphate 0

I have some hair algae and Cyano in the system so the zero N & P doesn't mean much. There's plenty. Corals are growing well. Colors are only OK. Something is still missing.

I'll be honest, I haven't tested in a few weeks but my tank is young. Fish are fat & healthy looking. First batch of 12 corals went in Memorial day weekend (thanks Pieces of the Ocean), they're showing signs of growth. That being said I just added 12 more corals from Rap NY so I think I might need to start watching Alk to see if my weekly WC keeps up with it. Last time I checked I had low PH 7.8? (basement, no open windows lately), high nitrates 60 I believe, 0 phosphates. I do have diatoms, snails, hermits & mithrax are doing a pretty good job keeping it even however.

Maybe not perfect but my acros are growing like crazy! ;)

I will leave the DIY 20 long all in one zoa tank, the 14 biocube, and the 40 breeder zoa colony tank out, as I do not measure them lol. Just make sure the zoas grow and that they look like they should lol.

And here are the numbers from Sjöfartsmuseet Akvariet's two propagation systems :)

System 1
Sal: 35 ppt
NO3: 0,5-1,5 ppm (Salifert)
PO4: 0,045 ppm
Alk: 6-6,5 dKH (salifert & Triton)
Ca: 439 ppm
Mg: 1358 ppm
K: 441 ppm
pH: 8,1-8,7 (no refugium, no calcium reactor, calibrated by @Lasse ;))

System 2
Sal: 35 ppt
NO3: 0,5-1 ppm (Salifert)
PO4: 0,012 ppm
Alk: 6-6,5 dKH (Salifert & Triton)
Ca: 441 ppm
Mg: 1379 ppm
K: 410 ppm
pH: 7,9-8,25 (recently started a calcium reactor, no refugium)

All numbers from the last Triton tests, except those measured with Salifert.

Both systems are around 4000L each and will serve as propagation and holding tanks until we've built the new Aquarium(about two years).

Since there's lots of light and corals we struggle to keep the nutrients up(and Alk). Dosing lots of Core7, KNO3 and KH2PO4 every day.

That CO2 scrubber works. I want to up my pH. My buddy @ylreefer needs to share his stash!

Wow! Super low alk. In 4000L, sounds like a challenge.

I have a Trident and its amazing to see the Cal/Alk swings throughout the day.
I’d love to see how much my tank fluctuates throughout the day. But I’d just leave it be.

That’s a lot of testing! Seems all of your systems run at good numbers.

Well I have 2 kids that in the hobby as well, so it helps, and all tanks are not tested on the same day lol. That would be a full day of work. As for numbers, some consider my higher alk tanks with high nutrients bad. One thing that helps is dosers and reefpi for stability lol.
