Hello all.

I ordered some stuff from a new guy and split a shipment with a local shop. in my half i received two Alveopora like I was supposed to. Well as they opened I was very surprised to see the color and wanted to know if anyone has any or as seen it. I will get a pic tonight but for now here is a description or the polyps

VERY bright green almost yellow skirt. The flat hammer like tips are another shade of the same green but even brighter.
They fade to a very rich dark hunter green as it goes to the center and then the oral disk is bright pink/red. It’s has the 12 arms per polyp and all other characteristics are in order, it’s just the color that’s got me thrown off.

I have see this type of coloration on the red Goni's but never on a Alve, so my question is.
Is this just a oddity or have I just not seen enough Alveopora?
I admit it’s not something I would normally order but they talked me into it.
