Thank youBeauty of a fish! My wife is partial to Wrasses but I’ve never gotten around to putting a top on tank. Fish like yours makes me think a little more bout getting it done.

Lol welcome aboardHey Ray... just jumped on board so I can harass, er, um, I mean root you on.
Congrats on your recent "Tankaversary". It's looking fantastic! Especially so for being 13 months old.
Hideeho good neighbors, more testing and housework today. Testing have DKH nailed to 1.5 DKH use each day now and calcium and mag finally showing use albeit small. I hope balance is around the corner.
The hammer I moved yesterday is starting to get happier I lost a PP8 so less flow cutting across the mid of tank. Think I’m gonna get a second gyre to replace the remaining PP8 on left wall. When I pick the small pieces of gha left they really show gyre action on right of tank
The Dendro is/was ticked off big time he was happy in frag rack little higher than rock placement so moved em to sand tucked in cove hope Sanford doesn’t get em.
The formally missing designer zoas looking decent lots of length on stalks stretching away from rocks in this flow area. Kenya is digging new spot in mid/mid of tank color really came back.
@najer Calmer I like that didn't strike me till ya said it. But i havent been so torqued up lateley just doing min stuff i feel needs doing pickkin algae watching alk. Watchin corals moving as needed to find em a forever home on the rocks. Keep Calm and Reef onI am loving how this is becoming calmer, if you don't need to do this or that because it adds no apparent "value" then try to do it less often maybe?
There is no "One Way" anymore, lots of things work, mine survives mostly on considered neglect!

@Katrina71 thanks its a Kenya Tree coral . i saw a snow white one 2 weeks ago im kicking myself for not buying now :-(What is that pink coral? A leather? Never seen one here, but I sure love it.
Fingers crossed for ya! How awesome to work in something that intersects with your hobby/passion Now get that computer fixed and start exporting fresh spam again lolDue to a potential new job coming up I did some reading about aquaponics yesterday, such a great way to grow food, if you think about it that it is what I am trying to go, no fish harvesting and the "food" export is caulerpa, I grow corals!
We only get the white ones here!@Katrina71 thanks its a Kenya Tree coral . i saw a snow white one 2 weeks ago im kicking myself for not buying now :-(

Salutations and greetings marine enthusiasts, The battle has begun! Started tearing apart the coralife metal halide actinic combo light that came with my Craig’s list find. I measured the cavity and it will accommodate my DSuny led’s with a little bit of drilling for the mounting points.
When originally brought home tried to clean er up salt creep froze the actinic covers in place shortly thereafter leds arrived.
Well in just four short hours able to strip it down and get a lot cleaned out. The glass is still frozen in place over actinic slots going to make a scraper to fit inside with the reflectors removed to clean inside glass.
Going to need to figure out wire routing once I take the leds down but looks like I’ll have plenty of space.
I’m hoping doing all this work will be a waste of time and I win the Noopsyche hybrids
Here’s cpl pics
I like what I'm seein ray ray! Your corals will thank you! Looks like it was due... nice work!Woot! Another hour and a half into project and isolated the actinic wiring and have all panels apart. The acrylic cover on actinic still frozen tight. Need to get these two covers off to fully rewire fixture as I want it. Need to find a four foot long trough to put vinegar solution in to try and feee em..... and yes I thought bathtub but wife’s not crazy about that idea.......
