When we started our tank we thought it was a great idea to get some yellow polyps and some other stuff to give us some color and now its growing like wild fire. How do I get rid of some of it without hurting anything. Do I have to just pick it off or is their a better way?

You can make a kalk paste and use a needle and syringe to inject them. Just don't over due it at one time or you'll throw your parameters out of whack.

You can also use the 2 part epoxy putty to make some blankets and smother the excess polyps- or take the rock that has them out of the water and remove them with a razor blade before replacing the rock.

Thanks, I might try scraping them first. How do I make the kalk paste?
