It's been a *lil* while now. Things have cleared up amazingly. No more dinos. Growth is now exploding, new arms and encrusting everywhere I see. Colors are starting to normalize. So i'm quite pleased with the progress. I need to put some time aside to get a good picture -- easier said than done!

Okay, time for some pics! All pics taken under 6x24 ATI, 4B+, 1ABS, 1C+

Aussie never stops encrusting (it's taken up a 5x4 area just encrusting)

So things are progressing and looking fairly good. Growth is exploding everywhere, some of the corals which were damaged by dinos are still clinging to life and growing back. Really pleased with how things are going right now. I did a 30% water change and am following up with another 30% change in a day or two.

EDIT: WOAH! The first two pictures shown in the thread are NOT the pictures I posted... I just went to edit, and I see the pictures I had originally chosen.. Photobucket is weird.

EDIT 2: Yeah, the first two pictures are of my tank last year, and my Tangaroa goby.. Not sure whats going on. bleh.

Well I decided to stop being lazy. I've snipped up all the dead tips on some of my SPS, I had been hoping they would overgrow the dead parts. Some have, but the one's who haven't had just been making the place ugly. So, snip snip. Some have been made into a small frag from a whole mini colony, others have been cut in half and left on rock.

When I removed one frag from the rock, I realized it had spread in a 2x3" area and has about 8-9 1/2" arms.. It did this while not even attempting to grow over it's dead tips.

So I was wrong, and wasted time waiting for something that's unlikely to happen.. Ah well, live and learn. Or learn from others mistakes!

So -- Pics. Of mostly nasty flubber just this once.

Looking great bro!

Thank you kindly! Baby steps. Now that I'm using Red Sea blue bucket... I wonder if my tank will get back on track where it once was.

Every step back is improving my tank... That's what I get for fixing something that wasn't broke -_-

Haha, you're far to generous Freddie! Not sure I'd say stunning, but it's past it's ugliest phase for sure and I can live with that :D

Now, frankly... I think your tank is closer to stunning than mine! Pretty frags are nice but you can't beat a mature system's growth!

Hey @mdbannister @revhtree -- There's a bug on the forum specifically with photobucket..

In my last post I see pictures that are not what I posted, this has been happening more and more. This is a direct copy/paste from RC, where the correct pictures are displayed.

Something funky goin' on!

Your new shots are great!!!

I just upload my crappy shots from my laptop.

Are you saying that there is an photobucket issue, with R2R?

Thanks!

And yeah.. At least three of the pictures are NOT the pictures I linked to. The same exact pictures show up as the correct image on RC -- Not sure why... It's a direct Copy/Paste.

Pictures 5, 6, and 9 are NOT the correct images.
