I should write down what I actually have for a reference somewhere. What better place than my own thread? I *tried* to separate the one's I've got from the same company to some degree. unless I've just got one offs I leave it randomly. As for the wild pieces, you gotta give em dumb names to remember them. Hopefully mine are dumb enough to remember when they're colonies.

Rakie,
From my memory off RC... You've been using kalk.

Is that correct?

Not for awhile! I'm using ME corals 2 part and ME Magnesium. It's very concentrated, so I don't expect this to last quite as long. Thankfully small corals in a small tank mean it's taken me two months to get through 1 gallon of ME stuff.

This will probably last 1g per month im guessing.

New pump day! Let me tell you... These little pumps are beasts, and IMO, have one of the widest flow patterns available. They are both somehow more gentle than my mp10's, while putting out significantly more flow. I couldn't be more pleased with these little pumps. Already sold one mp10 off, one more to go.

Pump is 1700+ gph -- Sicce loves to say they understate their GPH, let me tell you, two of these in my 24x24 and there is no such thing as a "dead spot" anymore. My wrasse are loving the flow. My Bangaii, not as much, but it's keeping him from being such an aggressive jerk, so that's a win/win for me.

I'm sure it's a higher bang/buck ratio with these too. :)

In every sense of the word. More gentle due to wider flow patterns, giant wide flow patterns that move lots of water, vortex style flow pattern that makes multiple gyre effects when pointed at one another, more power efficient, 5 year warranty, sealed lubrication and self-cleaning impeller design. Sicce stuff is seriously under-appreciated to me. Their powerheads are pretty great.

IMHO, Sicce and Tunze lead the field. two mp10's didn't move half as much water as I needed, and the flow pattern was way too weak/condensed.

Love your journal! pics are good to :D

Thank you much! Pics are coming along well, and the corals are following suit :D

In other news... I did a bad. Got something I shouldn't have.. Heck, I need to build a new stand just for this lil beast....... New sump.

Nice pickups, @Rakie. I'd guess you got a heck of a deal on that sump! :D

Made a little room
You sure did and it looks good. :)

(lol)
Had to go into split screen mode to look at post #94, to compare.

Were you able to bring up the mag and hold it?

It's impossible for me to get an accurate FTS -- I'm guessing it's just a camera limitation but a colorful FTS just doesn't happen with my camera. Everything is just a gray/blue tinged color.
