Fyi- if you are buying this on eBay only buy from asap aquarium. Other seller is a drop shipper not in the US as stated.
I looked into this stuff a year ago, there were no options at all, it's kinda nice there's more than one today

I've had the Cal Reactor for awhile, I just need the CO2 tank, and I'm getting one tonight. Then I just need to put it all together.

Did you go with an GEO?

Yep, I ended up with a Geo 612! Price I couldn't beat
Good call!!!

I don't think that the "GEO nano" would work with your regulator.

Seems like they recommend the carbon-doser for the nano.

What are you using for your cal reactor's feed?

Probably a small maxijet honestly. It's what all the old timers in my club use lol

Ur not worried about constant flow rates?

I do not have a calc reactor but that’s what I hear is the biggest problem

A small sicce/Maxijet (cobalt) will be pretty consistent. My return pump is weaker by design I'm not a huge turnover through sump person. If I have to I'll sell a few corals and pickup a nicer pump but honestly I feel this will be fine.

Some FTS pics. It's hard for me to get a nice FTS, so here's like 4 of them, hopefully one or two look good I can't quite decide. Bubble Algae still present but meh, it's not harming anything just ugly. It's thinning out though.

Corals look super happy.
You need to borrow my scopas for the bubble algae (I'm not showing this to my mithrax, they would cry with envy), slight hitch, it won't take them off the rocks so you need to get them into the water column one at a time, it never misses! ;)

I guess i might be looking for a micro fox face to eat up the bubble algae. Maybe vibrant..

Why? Because the last time I dosed fluconazole it allowed dinos to take over.

And it happened again. Dino free for 6 months then poof, I dose fluconazole and Dino's are back. I thought it was cyano but it wasn't.

So now I'm doing what I did before for Dino's, so they don't take over again.

Right now the only thing suffering are some zoas. I lost a small colony if Bloodshots, some Buttmunchers, some pink diamonds, candy apple reds, and Bowsers.

So far my space chaos are just fine, which is good... They were expensive.

Seems the bubble algae bloom was not that harmless at all.
Your sticks on the other hand are doing well?
Agreed I would take BA over dinos any day.

Yeah my SPS is all fine actually. I just bought a big bag of filter floss, so I can do a lot of manual removal daily. Dosed some metro to help fight it off as I've done before.

Whenever I have tried to nuke algae with chemicals dinos take over. It happened with bryopsis and now with bubble algae. Aside from being ugly as all hell, the Bubble Algae isn't hurting anything.

I do have one more plan that's kinda crazy... A club member has a huge 400g tank and he had BA, had to scrub it all by hand and it was gone. I may as well go ahead and grab a wire brush and go to town on it, see what happens. I'm pretty sure I have some unopened ones laying around.
