Ok, the frame for the Red Sea screen top is built. We went inside this time. Fits super flush with the rimless tank. I haven't attached the screen because I'm trying to decide on this center support. We are going with our original plan of the 36" T5 hybrid with 3 Kessil A160WEs. We're going for all the coverage.

Do you think the screen will droop any without the center? I'm thinking it will be just fine from how tight I got the one on the 35 cube.

I have a BRS DIY screen kit on my 60"x30" and I have no drooping without a center brace so I think you will be fine.

I have the same tank from Steve!! Love the layout of the “cube” 90g. Switched my locline out also, made a template and routed the acrylic to fit perfectly. Made a ghetto cover until I can get in some 1/2” thick black acrylic to make a proper fitting one. Suggestion, change out the bulkheads they send you with the tank, they’re alright but very crumbly. Get some good solid ones from BRS.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll check those bulkheads out real well. I still have plumbing fittings to buy from Lowes as well. I have to figure out how exactly I'm going to plumb everything next week.

My plumbing for everything, running a double manifold but I’ll be changing the sump around and plumbing to better suit my needs. Originally wanted to run an algae scrubber but a large refugium won over that idea.

I've got the Trigger Sapphire cube and it has a rather large refugium.... and I'm thinking of going with a calcium reactor later on once kalk is no longer enough to keep up. So, I think I'm going to have just one tap coming off the return to feed the CaRx in the future. Maybe two if I want to run a carbon reactor... yea, I think two will work.

Nice return pump. Speaking of What return you going with and you going to use your BM skimmer? BRS has 25% off vertex, 90 gal and you being a fish guy you will need a Biggen

I have a reef octo varios6 on this setup. Also plan to run a calrx in the future once consumption is up there, but I’m rethinking that for a kalk stirrer. I’m running the sca302 skimmer and it’s been fantastic. Minus the pump taking a crap on me. Steve at SCaquariums is sending a new one out for it though.

Same as I planned to do. I did two just in case, one is running my BRS carbon reactor and the second is going to be the feed for my calrx. If I decide to run it that is.

That's pretty much his true color. He's a blue gray with super bright yellow tips and a bleach white tail. The picture was taken in auto on my S8+ and unedited... and I got lucky getting it. I have about 20 half frames or blurred shots in the mix.

Looking great ! A little more like twins that I have the trigger 20 also but amethyst...
Have you routed your plumbing yet? I'm racking my brain trying to figure out how I'm going to do mine. The bulk head on the left will be the durso drain into the fitting on the sump. I'm going to make the left an emergency drain into the return chamber I think. The middle will be the return from the manifold. Still not sure on placement for the manifold and the emergency drain.

Haven’t had the time to really work on the tank much, 16hour shifts been putting me on blast... hopefully this weekend and adult beverages will get me rolling! I plan on the left being my main, center return, right emergency.

I'm on 12 hour nights all weekend. Know your pain, kinda of. Those 16s will kill you. Next week is my week off, and I plan on having this tank running come hell or high water.
