Not a high demand for elements currently, so I wasnt expecting much drop. 4ml a day is close to what I was expecting.

It's the GHA and phosphates that have given me a swift kick in the rear for laying out for so long. Now I have exponentially more work to remove it.

Holy growth batman!

Thin that stuff out so it grows faster again and consumes more nutrients!

And dose Iron! :p

I was considering this as part of my work for my week off next week. I've heard harvesting spurs growth so it will absorb more nutrients. Hopefully some locals need chaeto. I have about 3 bags full. (Sing it like the little black sheep)

@Brew12

GHA or the return of bryposis? I'm considering a small dose of fluconazole.

I don't see anything in this picture that makes me think Bryopsis. Either a wire algae or GHA imo.

I really need to pull that GHA. Bonnie and Clyde have taken up residence. I have to take the picture from the couch, if I go to the tank they think they are going to be fed. Greedy pigs. Really the algae isn't all that bad. That stuff on the sand will come out really easy, and I'll scrub some of the rocks. The fuge and GFO combination seems to be the trick to keeping phosphates down tho. I need to order more ROX carbon and GFO. Oh, I have new goodies in, I'll show you later. (Not coral, or fish.)
