Also the siphon is a hazard but if uve got ur sump Lv right and use a primer there ok. (Primer is as the water runs by it causes a vaccuum)I'd look into drilling I have a 30g HOB and was goin 2 drill then used HOB siphon then took the science into play and wasn't worth the risk With a small tank. but my new 75g is getting drilled once I figure what return I'm using. Might use he ghost that was on here a day ago. And I believe those spotted zoas are galaxy's or something along those lines

I used a glass holes overflow kit on my 40 breeder build and loved it... they're small so they don't take up much room in the tank, and they come with the drill bit and everything you need to connect to your plumbing. Great deal and a pretty good price as well

I should have drilled it before I set it up, but I'm not risking cracking my tank now. I would rather flood my floor than break the tank. All my tests show that nothing will flood if I lose siphon or from a power outage. My return chamber on my sump only holds about 2 gallons, if that, and I have my overflow under the black support on the tank, so there is plenty of space to hold a extra 2 gallo. Drilled tanks do look much better imo, maybe with my next tank.

As long as it's a power outage the siphon with air pump reprimes. But if the siphons fails then ur tank will just keep gettn feed water and flow till nothing is in sump and hopefully pump won't burn. I watched a guy drill a running tank. Just drained it 1/4 way down but up a plastic guard like a cup but a little different and put putty on 2 seal it so notglass goes intank. Then bulk headed it for him and he took his cube home. Then I was left in there with him and he told me y a nano sump. All that for a few extra gallons and now his cube isn't a real cube. So he wasn't happy but it's what the customer wanted

Thanks! I think I've decided to let the GSP go. I have been rough on the Kenya tree also, but it keeps on keepin on. Actually cut it from it's original place and 2 new trees sprouted. You can kind of see them at the bottom of this pic.

Those Duncan's and Acans look awesome. Way better than mine
Thanks! They really love the T5s.

I got the GSP to grow up the back of my tank wall. makes a nice backdrop.
Haha. That was my plan also. I was going to peel off what I could and then kill off what was left on my rock and grow it on my glass instead.

It's started to grow finally, but I never finished up the rock and of course it went nuts and grew back what I scraped off.

If anything I will isolate the rock it's on now and put it in the corner with the GSP growing on the glass.

Hooked my original 20 gallon up again. Different this time though. Will only hold 2 Clown's and some peppermint shrimp when I get around to it, possibly some new acros or GSP or Kenya trees.
Can find updates here if you are interested in seeing where it goes. I have some plans for it....

Just a FTS. Had to get a new rock for my Acans, I'm getting a little collection and move that anemone. Guy is out of control lol. Everything has been doing really good. Moved a bunch of stuff around picked up a few new corals. Finally got a sun coral, but he hasn't been out much. Sounds like he needs hand fed. Polpy came out when I was feeding ReefRoids and Dragon Dust. Hopefully he got some. He's only been there for a couple weeks now I think.

Anyway.

Was bored so I took some pics while I should be working. You'll notice a few new things and a new starfish is hanging out.
Here goes.
Anemone has been irritating people.
IMAG1085.jpg

Glad my rastas are coming back. Still look a little wimpy.
IMAG1084.jpg

Goni has been looking like poo. Dunno why. Maybe not enough light? I would think they would be stretching for light. Maybe to much. Who knows.
IMAG1083.jpg

Not much excitement here either. The small ones seem to come out the most, so hopefully they will come out some day. I think they got a bit stressed.
IMAG1082.jpg

Got some of this stuff the other day. Cypha....something. Can never remember the name.
IMAG1079.jpg

Got some of this also. Can't remember what he called it either. Some kinda pora I think.
IMAG1078.jpg

Various zoa/paly patches. Not much growth, but some.
These guys are mad cause I just tried to kill a couple aiptasia that just won't die.
IMAG1073.jpg

IMAG1072.jpg

Moved the bride of chuckies since my anemone wants to be big. My girlfriend likes these the most she says, so I had to save them.
IMAG1059.jpg

IMAG1071.jpg

IMAG1070.jpg

Got some uglies mixed in.
IMAG1069.jpg

Dunno what kind of palys these orange ones are, but they are one of my favorites. Some kind of people eater? They have a green mouth.
IMAG1068.jpg

IMAG1061.jpg

Acans coming alone nicely. I am noticing growth on these. Each one has at least 2 baby heads growing, if not more.
IMAG1067.jpg

IMAG1066.jpg

IMAG1065.jpg

This devils hand has came such a long way. It's about the size of my fist now. Started out about the size of a quarter.
IMAG1062.jpg

My shelf is growing nicely. Keep chipping it when I'm cleaning though. Put the little chips in holes in the rock when it happens.
IMAG1060.jpg

Just all together now.

As of today. Ended up getting another new light. Never ends. [emoji1] Thinking about adding in some more rock, just for more hiding spots and decor. Most everything has been doing well. Everything has adjusted to the new light already. All fat and fluffy, just like i like them. Did have a mishap a month ago or so. The GFO i was using was to fine and it got all nasty. It was a big ol mess. Still cleaning up a little after that. So i lost Filmore, my Yellow Tang. Poor guy. Ended up replacing him with a Coral Beauty. Love watching him beat up these mean ol blue damsel fish lol.

Few new corals probably. Got that elegance coral a few weeks ago. Been doing great. Got it cheap too. [emoji12]

Ok bye

Just some new pics. Haven't really added much I don't think. Picked up a sun coral, they don't come out much unless I feed the tank.

This guy is just getting massive.

If that nem is a sebea. Get ready for a HUGE nem. I'm in a 30 gal and moving 2 a 75 very shortly. And it killed 2 rainbow Aussies like urs. Green and red is still alive but barley also a straight rainbow that's returning 2 outerflesh and not just it's mouth.
