Will this grow?

I got a small Ricordea that was stuck on 2 small pieces of rubble. I glued the rubble pieces to my rocks and all was well. I think my Turbo snail bulldozed it, because I found one of the pieces on the bottom with what looks like a little piece of meat on it. I scooped it up and put it in a small glass at the bottom of my tank. If it is a piece of the Ricordea, will it grow into another one?

Throw it back in and attach it so it cannot get moved around. Mushrooms have a habit of surviving more than what we would expect from them.

You can take a mushroom and put it in a blender and poor it back in your tank only to have a plague of them months later.
