Prazipro remains active in the water column for up to 72 hrs, but only needs 24 hrs max to do its job. So technically, you could do a water change after 24 hrs if you were worried about prolonged exposure for wrasses. :)

Only 2 rounds of Prazi - spaced 7 days apart - are usually required.

Where you order from can definitely determine if you need to qt or not

These are DD and LA purchases. I've had fish in my tank that where "quarantined" and ended up having ick. So after about 8 weeks of my 150 ha in hypo, having had to remove all corals, trap my hermits, track down snails, and chase
My skunk shrimp to prior to the treatment, I am now a skeptic of any claim that a fish has been quarantined properly. I learned my lesson for sure.

I agree. I know people who have gotten flukes & ich from DD specimens.

It's just not worth the trouble of getting a nasty in your tank. I learned the hard way. Never again

I buy from blue zoo only never a problem but that's why I never buy from dd and LA especially since petco bought them out yeah you definitely need to qt

I've gotten some nice, healthy fish from Bluezoo. Pair of mandarins, for example. However, I've gotten some badly diseased fish from them as well. A foxface with a bad bacterial infection comes to mind. They made it "right" by sending me another foxface because they were sure the first one wouldn't survive based on the pics I emailed them. After 3 weeks of antibiotics, I wound up with two foxfaces. ;)

Yeah they have good customer service but they mostly qt for ick most other can be cured in the dt

I wouldn't call it a QT if it's for a specific disease as you mention. It's either QT or not. There is no fish store on the planet that can properly QT fish without potential cross contamination. Not possible with that many fish moving through a commercial operation. Always QT. Always. I learned the hard way.

Next time petco has the dollar per gallon sale, go get two 10 for TTM. That's plenty big for what you currently have. Them move them to the 40 for observation.

Doubt that. They may have constant treatments and medication in place, but there is zero chance that they prevent cross contamination. No doubt that the more respected operations are a better bet than most, but they most certainly are not full proof. Period. End of conversation.

We as fish keepers have a responsibility to get them from the healthiist places we can and feed properly and keep them that way that's why I get my cuc from reefcleaners because they don't keep fish

That's all well and good, but if you don't QT your fish is doesn't matter where your CUC come from. You'll never know what's in your tank. Or, on the opposite side of your comment, we as fish keepers owe it to ourselves to go through rigorous QT processes buying from any source to prevent that our DT suffers losses.

I don't want to start a debate, but if you've never QT your fish than you've seen illness at some point and either bested it or kept it in check. 30 years? That's a pretty long run without disease of any kind. Wow! Have you ever lost a coral?

I didn't say I've never lost anything but not a fish to disease.
