Zoa Spider?

I found this critter in my tank hanging out on a Lepo i dont have zoas in the tank currently i removed them prior to finding them i inspected the frags of zoas i have in my other tanks but nothing out of the ordinary found i say i think its a zoa spider since im not aware of anything else similar

Its a micro brittle star

hi,sorry to say looks like a acro/monti eating spider.

There are many different kinds of these "spiders" in the ocean eating different things, mostly carnivore though, just like with nudibranches. Yours doesn't really look like the zoa variety

nah its not a starfish I had a video of it crawling around the rock but for some reason it will not let me post the video it moves just like a normal land spider In the picture I have posted it was extremely injured since I took a turkey baster to it and suck it off of a rock I had found it on my left toe but it would run from the light until one night I finally got it out

After fishguy242 stated that I looked them up. Never realized there was monti spiders. Learn new things everyday. Will they go after zoas as well?

there definitely some strange critters to find i honestly dont know anything about them i didnt find any on my zoas though and it only hung out at one lepo, like clockwork as the lights went out it came out i havent seen any since but i figured id share my find

If you didntput it in there- It gets evicted.

Just tossing it out there. The neighbor kid stuck a black widow spider in a water bottle, filled it up to the top and closed the lid. He left it outside for about two weeks in the sun. I opened the bottle and the spider came crawling out.. just FYI.

But chances are if it was a house spider it would have eventually made its way out of the tank if it could.
