12 gallon nano needs led's

so would it be easier to get a diy kit and install the led's where the power compacts where or just buy one already put together that I can screw in place where the power compacts used to be? If I go with the diy kit which led's should I be looking for I know it seems something new comes out monthly and I am lost ...any input is appreciated.

I went with a DIY kit from reefledlights, Bill is a great guy. I liked having the ability to pick the color combo as well as have them fully dimmable.
