That will definitely light the tank nicely! As you said, start them at LOW intensity and work your way up. Unfortuntely, this is the one area where Orphek could improve their controller... have some type of acclimation process. You'll have to do this more or less manually and create new profiles each week (or that's what I did anyway) and just bump everything up 5% each week.

So every time you add a new frag do you start your lights on a lower intensity and then raise them 5% each week? Do you just add multiple frags at the same time or just a few a year?

orphek bars are "on/off" they don't currently dim, so you'd have to either just power them for less time or move the frags from the bottom of the tank to the top over time. honestly it depends on where the frags came from on whether or not you have to acclimate them gently (from the original lighting setup).
