We’ve got everything just about set up. I still need to finish hanging the lights tonight and we’re going to create a small rock structure for in the middle back of the tank. It’s coming together nicely!

Got the diy light rail and one of the ecotech xr15 g5 up. The other will be moved once I move the contents of the 20g to the new 80.

I am so blown away with this tank. It is by far the quietest tank I have ever heard.

The tank is just about ready for inhabitants. I’m redoing the trim to hide the foam pad under the tank. I hadn’t thought about it originally.
Once I move over the contents of the 20g I can put up the second xr15.
Can’t wait to get some life in there!

Not much progress but I did change out the top trim. Tomorrow I plan to build a cabinet for the awc reservoirs.
Hopefully will get to head to Jacksonville in a week or two and pick up some new inhabitants.

Started moving over some of the coral from the 20. The anemone may be tricky, I don’t want to bring any rock from that tank.

I’ll try and remember to get some photos before the lights go full blue tomorrow.

Had some time to set up the Dos for my Auto Water Change system. Really excited to have it on this tank. It will be changing one gallon per day. I may bump it up so it’s an even ten gallons per week.
I’ll be building a cabinet for the reservoirs and an insulated top for the Dos. So far, the pumps aren’t too loud but they’re a bit annoying with how often they run. The tank is located in my living room behind the couch so I want things as quiet as possible. Hence, the insulated top to house the dos units.
Also decided to go ahead and order a Trident, I hate testing! Haha

My coral looks so tiny in the new tank. Haha

Jacksonville next weekend to stop by a couple stores and blow some more money.

Finished changing up the trim. I didn’t think about the pad being exposed when I first put trim on. Next up is the cabinet to house the AWC and dosing systems.
Really happy with how everything is coming together.

Nice. Have a mix. Three tangs. Convict, brittle tooth and powder brown along with a few clowns. 4 different shrimp. Cleaner, blood, pistol and 2 peppermint. 9 nems with 2 porcelain crabs. Every week I’m at lfs or/and on line adding something.

Started the frame for the awc cabinet. Once it’s skinned I’ll be putting a top box on a hinge on top. I’m going to insulate the top box to quiet down the Dos units. It’s located directly behind the couch and they can be annoying with the near constant running from awc’s.

Splendid pintail and carpenters hiding together in the acclimation box.
Unfortunately the hooded flame did not handle shipment well. Still waiting to hear back from the vendor.

Didn’t grab enough plywood to finish the cabinet for the awc. Stupid mis-cut haha.

also had some time to get the frame put together for my daughters tank. She wants the im nuvo20 in her room with the mocha storm clowns. Have to start them young!

So stoked about the Trident!

I wish I had this on previous tanks. I will still do manual testing monthly but it’s nice to be able to get an idea of what’s going on any time I want.

I love my taco! 130k miles and never had any repairs, just routine maintenance.
Thats awesome man! I have a 2021 with only 15k. But I had a Rav4 with 250k and Highlander with 292k (both totaled due to a drunk driver, another from someone who hit me head on from texting and driving). But I am pretty sure they would have both kept running forever if I still had them.

Build is looking awesome too, by the way!
