acans help please

I need help I had read you should hand feed acans so I turned off filtration and fed brightwell microvore. Yesterday they were shriveling up today they had a reddish brown film on them I took a eye dropper and removed film off them. Now I have basically just its coral base left with a little color left in middle. Is it dead or can it be saved. Please any advice thanks

yes looks like you lost most of its tissue, could be that slime disese acans get, happened to me a few times. dont feed that again, wait and if there feelers are out give them some mysis

make sure that you suck up that slime and dicard it

if they get the slime they normally don't make it

take good care of them, water changes, make sure all your levels are good. If they have a pin head of flesh left you have a great chance. I had some high dollar acans just melt away to nothing, I left the skeleton and a year later it started to grow, no I have 2 small heads
