So I acquired this coral last weekend, and in all honesty I don't really know much about it. I think it is a brain, some lobo or welly but unsure. Also where should it be placed? The Lfs told me nothing since they didn't know. Do I spot feed or do I use some phyto? I really ammat a loss, so any help will be appreciated.please educate me on this coral. :)

So where should it be placed?? Sand bed or rocks? Lots of flow? Low flow? Do I feed it??

I think it's an UNID lobo, as in "unidentified lobo" of some sorts. Treat is as you would an open brain/trachy/wellso. Sandbed is fine, though if you have a lower light area in your rockwork, he'd probably be happy there as well. Feed him chunky foods (mysis sized and up) if you care to, but not needed for his survival and growth. Don't blast him with flow, but make sure he's not in a dead zone. If he's happy, he'll get REALLY puffy, if he's not really puffy, try and see if maybe there's a reason.

Hope that's some help!

So do I treat him like my acans? They for some reason love to be right under my halides, should he go to the rocks?

So one of the above says high lighting and one says low to med. Think he is gonna move to the rockwork and see how he does there. Thanks guys!!
