Hard to find the cause of your trouble, but I would also look at the salinity first.
I use the same ATI ICP tests and my salinity on their results is always lower than what I measure with the digital milwaukee.
I never had it higher.
Hoping you find a solution.
Recovery looks underway and the tank is looking pretty good. BTW, I use the Pinpoint Salinity Monitor and I really like it. I had a Salinity spike also recently, but it had nothing to do with the device, it was on me (not bothering to test this simple parameter). Lost almost all the CUC much of which died deep within the rock causing some issues. Now that my tank has recovered(mostly), heres a few photos of what it looks like. I lost a lot of Acros, including 2 colonies in the mini crash. Still pretty bummed about it, but no where to go than forward.
Post Appocolypse FTS:
This Acro I had since it was maybe 3/4". It was pretty resiliant and is still growing strong.

I lost about half of this guy, but he managed to recover and is doing well now:
Captain Planet, stood its ground during the appocalypse, but is doing okay:
Oh yeah, my fish tank has fish!
Growth is back to being strong again. I will get some pics later today/tomorrow to provide some updates now that my tank is presentable again.
Made some small hardware changes, mainly replacing my DIY net with one from clearview, as well as getting an automatic neck cleaner, and skimmate locker for my skimmer. Im trying to reduce the amount of regular maintenance as much as I can, because I travel a fair bit.
Unfortunately, something ate my clam pretty rapidly, it was pretty sad to watch. I saw several 20+ very large amphipods inside the clam during its decline, and thought that they were just eating the dying flesh, but it turns out theres a pretty big track record of some of them eating clams, which is pretty frustrating to say the least. Water parameters have been good for a while, and it appeared to be perfectly fine and then the next morning it was almost half gone and being eaten by the amphipods. I will try and catch a pic of one of these guys.
Beautiful Wanatabei!
