Looks great, you did a nice job!

I'm curious, you call it a shallow peninsula but it doesn't look that shallow to me. I would have thought it was at least 20" high. How shallow is it?

What's the height? Looks to be 22 or 24" to me, I'd not call that shallow :)

Nice looking start. Stand appears to be plenty strong. Love the clean, white look.

Enjoy :)

Looking nice. Following >>>>>

Looks very nice. Did a good job so far!! Yeah same as others what is the height? Following...

You should give you more credit!

Bought a new orange hammer.

Stand looks great. What did you use to face and paint it?

Im using Auqaforest salt and balling method, I have a refugium with DIY COB 4k and 3.5k LED on Dimmable meanwell driver for export along with a Deltec 1350 Skimmer

Stand is MDF, used some wood filler on the sides, sanded with 80 GSM, then 200, then 600 GSM

After i sanded and it was smooth i used a Shellac based primer and top coat. sanded again with 600.

Then i applied a water based polyurethane

To be honest it was hard work and wouldn't do it again! If i had to build one i would of used pine paneling or hardwood.

Nothing that absorbs paint, I would of also used an aluminium extrusion frame.

BTW dimensions

120cm x45 x45

which is 48 x 18 x18

Don't know what a shallow reef is classed as but its shallow enough when i keep burning lps at the bottom of my tank yet SPS cant get enough light ;Facepalm;Facepalm

This month's update.

Added a red sea mesh top

Found my nyos test kit us faulty and I've had 0 nitrates for roughly 3 months so started dosing nitrate. Corals are improving already.

A video update on my corals, I go through whats working for me and not. I may also have a case of Ich so subscribe for my action plan regarding that

Noticed my wrasse has signs of ich so went out and grabbed this.

Start my dose last night, 3 scopes x2 per day.

I will document the progress to see if this stuff really works
