Hey All!

I have a 15 watt UV from my old tank and I was hoping to use it on my new IM 100 EXT. Having a hard time thinking of a way to mount it though since I got the pre-done plumbing. If anyone has mounted a UV in their IM tanks would love some inspiration! Thanks!

Do you have pictures of the UV and where you want it to go?

Pictures of the current plumbing?
Sure! Here's the UV

And here's the current plumbing

Maybe the back wall would work or on the ground behind the sump. Still unsure if I want to mess with the plumbing and put it inline with the return or get a seperate pump and have it output into the return.

I think a couple clamps on the wall there and it’s own controllable pump would be the way to go.

Those new Ai pumps are great to control different flow rates and they are small and silent.

Awesome! Then I can reuse the 3d printed clamps from my last build :) And I'll take a look into those, thanks!

hmmm that'd work good too! Something like this? Trying to think of how I can measure the flow though there.

When its on the return and you don't have a in-line flow meter, put a 5 gal bucket on the return nozzle and time how long it takes to fill it up. Multiple that to find the rough gph

I also have a chiller and a carbon reactor that run on a separate pump. Wondering if I should just add 2 more tees for those as well not sure if I'd have enough flow for all 3..
