Beautiful tank. Thanks for sharing. Have you had any problems with the angel picking at corals?

It happens that the big angels take a bite but it is not often. The acros usually pulls the polyps for a minute but later they are out again. So far, my flame angel has not shown any interest in picking.

No secrets at all. Trying to keep the system as stable as possible with low nutritional values. Changes 10% water every week. Dosage nopox every night to keep nutritional values in check. Uses balling for kaclium, kh (with iodine). Sends tests to trition lab every two months and corrects those values that differ. Have a high flow and I'm careful to clean the pumps so they do not drop in capacity.

Gorgeous tank! What’s the filtration look like? What additives do you use/coral foods?
Thanks! I have a rollermat, skimmer and reactor with carbon. In the sump I also have filterbags with siporax. I dont have any routines for coral food but sometimes I use red sea reef energy A and B.

everything looks great!!

Your intake of alk and calc have to be crazy high to not be using a Calcium Reactor. Ever think of going to a calcium reactor?

Yes it's high (700ml/day) but I'm not thinking about the reactor ;) Like balling, simple and smooth. Will soon change to a recipe that is 3.5 times stronger. Will make it last longer.
