Ok so im trying to program my leds. I have two 150 watt fixtures with 3 seperate controllable channels. Blues, whites and colors (red, green, deep blue) on a 57 gallon 36" tank

The tank isnt running yet but im going ahead and programming the lights.

I can program 8 timers per channel and I figure ill start off a little low. If figured ill run blues 12 hour with a max of 40%. Whites 8 hours with 20% max and colors 7 hours 10% max

If anyone has any different ideas or suggestions feel free to send em my way

Not bad, but I run a 65% Blue / 20% White/Color and only have them on max for 1.5hrs. The rest of the time is ramp up and ramp down. Kind of like how the sun rises and sets.

Below is my schedule. I know I have more timers than you, but you get the basic idea of the cycle.

I would also like to point out that it also depends on what you have in your tank. Your cycle and intensity can be completely different. I've got a mixed tank of SPS, LPS and some softies.

I plan on having a mixed reef as well. Probably mostly sps though. Gonna start slow like I did on my last tank though and probably start with lps and softies. The lights are way more than I need for a 57 gallon 36" tank. And ill probably have to adjust the intensities as I go. My last tank I went from a dual pc fixture to a old blue white evo fixture and I couldnt adjust intensity except for dimmer knobs on the fixture. My corals grew pretty well so I know ramping up and down isnt necessary but I kinds like the idea. I was told not to use much color that it can burn up the corals not sure how true that statement is. I really wish i had a way to find out what frequency the leds were. There isnt much info about these fixtures out there. Here is a pic of my lights when they were on.

I think I had just the blues on but it will let you see the pattern the lights put out
