I'm selling a master scoly I got at MACNA 2015. I would much rather sell local or even drive a couple hours to meet you. Shipping would be a last resort and still thinking about it. I feed it every other night Fauna Marin pellets. I'm in no rush to sell it. Tank picture is to give you a size reference.

$1200 obo shipped. I'm located in Northern Virginia.

Wow have these gone up that much? I thought they were like 200-300 max.

Honestly these "master scolys" have been fetching prices like this for years now.

I need to catch up! What's a Master? I just did a search but didn't find anything concrete. Looks like maybe 4 or more colors may qualify? This one sure is bright!! I almost need shades to look at it.

theres no "real" qualifiers, but Id say 4-5+ colors, very bright, and not a pattern/color you see everyday. And yes, the masters have been fetching 600-1000 for a couple years.

When I bought it from Coral Depot at MACNA, I was told / receipt said Master Scoly. I made a joke to a friend saying how it looks like a bleeding apple and UFO combined in to one and he responded with yea, that's a master scoly, but I've also seen pictures of multiple color mixes labeled as such...I'm just posting it as I was sold it.

I'm in no rush to sell it, but I would love to have a mind blowing meat coral in it's place or use the money to get one of those new AIO artfully acrylic tanks/stand.

I know I won't get 1200, which is why I put the obo since people would give me a lower price than I'm asking. $1k is honestly my selling point, but if I can't get that I'm happy to keep it. *:( meat corals noooooo*

They are so sexy, I might stop by their shop this weekend and hope they have some I can look at. What size did you choose?

The funny thing is I will probably be the only person using it for freshwater...fancy goldfish! I want a red one with a red stand sooooo bad!

But honestly, how weird is it just to say a tank is sexy!, you know they nailed it!
