Afternoon all!
I am currently acquiring equipment for a new 135G (long) saltwater tank setup. The tank is a Seapora 72" X 18" X 24". https://bigals.ca/seapora-standard-aquarium-long-135-gal-4042.html I have the overflow picked out (thanks to this forum), however, the lights are just beyond me. I have had a lot of hobbies over the years but very little have stumped me as much as these lights. I want to keep mostly Softies and LPS with some larger fish like Tangs, Angels, lots of inverts like crabs and shrimps. I MAY get a few SPS corals, however, I have found those corals tick me off more than I enjoy them. And that is likely due to the lights I have kept in my 35G tank. I don't have a lot of patience for those corals. Anyway, I can't spend a tonne on this. I have a Neptune Apex system I picked up 2nd hand if that makes any difference.
For my scape, I was thinking about having one larger rock system at one end and then from the middle to the other side, create a double rock structure with some bridges/tunnels for the fish to go in and out and hide when needed. I was thinking about getting 3-4 Kessill A160WE Tuna Blue. Opinions? I like the idea of the single lights and then hanging them like pendants.
