Hello, and welcome to Reef2Reef!

Can you post a picture of your tank? That'll help everyone try to figure out what may be going on. :)

Welcome to Reef2reef!

If the water looks milky, then it's likely a bacteria bloom. If it is a bacteria bloom, DONT DO WATER CHANGES. You can add a UV sterilizer to help speed up the clearing, but with bacteria blooms you really just have to let them run their course. Make sure to have tons of surface agitation. The bacteria can easily deplete a tank of oxygen. Pictures will help verify whether it is a bacteria bloom.

Welcome to R2R! Happy to have you here! Your best bet for some answers is to just post your question on the reef discussion forum. On this one you will just get a bunch of welcome's.
