Hi all hoping someone can help. I won a Nico led bar at a frag swap raffle today. It was supposed to be a UV bar. When i plugged it in it is extremely bright and very blue spectrum. Never had a UV bar, but this is not what I expected? Wondering if there was a mixup and maybe it is the blue pop spectrum rather than UV?

Either way nice to get in raffle(won an a360x also so was a good day), but want to know for sure what i got.

I’d say reach out to william to get all the specific information on the bar, but I was looking at it and I do remember seeing a small sticker on it saying “blue pop”...
If for any reason you don’t like it or that 360x let me know
I’m sure you have some great lights with many years of happiness to come!!
Thanks for coming out to support MTRC and Reefing USA

Thanks again and for sure very happy to have won them definitely not complaining! Already got the 360 up on a section of one of my frag tanks that was unlit previously so now more space for coral!

So it turns out it is a UV bar. I emailed ReefDelight and they got back to me first thing this morning and told me what to look for to confirm. They also sent me a photo of what their different spectrums look like... very helpful.

I was just surprised by the how bright and how blue it was. Not that this is a bad thing I just never had an LED bar. I held this light above the tank and it definitely gives my coral a noticeable "pop". Very excited to get this one up now.
