I have a smatfarm aqua star g5 light that I have been playing around with on my tank. I will be moving my whole set up to a 40 gallon breeder where I will be using 2 of these lights and would like to get my setting correct before I make the move! The light comes with its own preset setting for sps, lps, and mixed tanks. Originally I was using only the 3 blue channels and they seemed to work good but I read that the ab+ spectrum is the best for overall coral appearance and growth! Posted is a pic of my current settings as I have them fairly low simply because I don’t wanna throw my tank into shock so I will gradually increase and see how things go… but what would be the best settings I should be using especially since I will be using 2 lights on one tank! What other settings is everyone else using and how do y’all like them? I’ve mimicked the preset lps setting in a way but I’d like to find a setting that work wells and has more blue look than a white light looks thanks
