This tank is going to be SPS dominant with a few LPS/Zs/Ps.

I will post updates as frequently as necessary. :)

So far I have put together the sump, cleaned the tank, repainted the back (I missed a spot though), and Aquascaped (Mostly).

Equipment:

Tank - Oceanic Illuminata 57g (Jonty's old tank)
Stand - Tech Stand
Sump - 20g High with baffles siliconed in
Controller - APEX Jr. or RKL... still deciding
Skimmer - SRO XP1000SSS
Lighting - ATI 6 Bulb x 36" Fixture (Sunpower)
Flow - 2x Koralia Evolution 1400 (About 50x Turnover in display) Probably will upgrade sometime, but this will work for now
Filter Sock - ..... well.... a filter sock LOL
Reactors - x2 BRS Reactors - Carbon and GFO
Heater - 200w Finnex
Frag Rack - Black Rock Reef MR3.L
Return Pump - Tunze Silence (not the adjustable one, the other one. Can't ever remember all of these numbers that tunzes gives)
Rock - BRS Reef Saver
Sand - Reef Flakes
Dosing - Arm dosing until I can afford dosing pumps

Pics:

Here is the aquascape. You can't really see the shelves that I added in there, but they will be great for growing coral on top, and maybe sun corals below. Built with fiberglass rods and epoxy

I have yet to add my 2lbs. of Tonga Branch Dry rock for character. I am going to boil the though, just to be on the safe side.

Thanks everyone!

Today I made the screen top (I have a tilefish LOL), cleaned the stand, added the tonga branch rock, and spray painted some stuff in the sump area to blend in better.

I'll post pics tomorrow or Tuesday :)

OK Update.

So here is the rockwork with the tonga branch rock.

Here is the sump all cleaned up. I have a tile (like for a tile floor) on top of the sump to hold the ATO reservoir up. Both the tile and reservoir are spray painted black.

Here is the screen top I made from BRS Clear mesh and Home depot supplies.

------------

The screen is actually smaller than the lip of the tank. It is being held up by these acrylic tabs that i made. This way it keeps the rimless look while keeping in the fish. This idea came from the previous owner.

2 Part Storage.

And here is the full shot.

Thanks for the comments.

So far I got the Dr Tims bacteria/sand from DFS. And got an awesome deal on koralia power heads from Big Al's Online. (They were like half price. Paid $75 for two 1400's!)

Also got an order from BRS. I am now the "proud owner" of over 1000 BRS points

I just need to order the skimmer, pump, and a gate valve from marinedepot. Also the lights from Reefgeek.

I decided to switch to TEK instead of ATI. Just more cost effective. Besides I don't need no fancy European stuff.

I'll probably plumb this weekend. And get that marine depot order in.

everything is now purchased. ended up going with LEDs. Should have water by next week. Just waiting on the lights, a piece of plumbing, and the electrician to install an outlet.

Worked a bit on friday and saturday then put in a 10 hour day today :)

The after effects of today's 10+ hours of work, accidental fume inhalation, and a few mistakes possibly due to the fumes.... I am tired

I'll post some more detailed pics and descriptions when I have cleaned up.
