Looks great! Have you plugged in the skimmer yet? is it noisy? looking to get one possibly.

I did plug it in briefly (turned it off when I added my Dr. Tim's One and Only) and its not too bad. It has a bit of a hum but the trickle of water masks the sound pretty well.

It looks like I'm getting close! Ammonia appears to be dropping in 24 his and my nitrites just dropped from about 5ppm yesterday morning to .5ppm today. I ended up dosing a bottle of biospria after having initially dosed Dr. Tims one and only. Wanted to make sure I had a good colony as I'm starting with the live rock.

Nitrites finally hit 0 tonight. Dosed ammonia again to see if they respond in 24 hours again, if they do I'm ready for my fish!

Tank is finished cycling and I have my first diatoms. Picked up a couple trocus snails and my first fish, a royal gramma! Now to do my water change, add my pods and then my fish and we're off!

Fish looks good, my numbers are staying stable. I need to bring my nitrates down a bit more, they are around 20, so another water change is in the near future, but my pods are doing well and the gramma is feeding, and no longer hiding all the time (it did for the first few days)

Anyone have any idea what the little branch things are that are hanging on the rock? They came with the rock, aren't growing, and look to be dead, just wondering.

nice looking good, nothing to worry about just pick it off. grab a digital thermometer and place the probe in the back wall .Then you can stick the readout to the side or back of the tank with velcro if you dont want to have a thermometer in tank

Twas a happy day when I opened the box to my Innovative Marine NUVO Fusion 20. I took about 10 pictures of it empty. Had a problem with Hurricane Irma and I've gone synthetic

Well its been a bit since I've posted, but everything is still going swimmingly. Still waiting on my black snowflake extremes (hopefully they will be here tomorrow!) but I love what's going on so far.

I have a ton of coralline algae growth which I'm loving, the only issue is my sand bed is a mixed type, and my snails are kicking up the coral and shells in it which are turning green. No slime though and my snails have been great at keeping everything under control. Had one small spot of hair algae that they took care of in less than a day and none so far since.

Tons of pods in the tank from the bottles I won,I love seeing them in the glass. My CUC consists of two cerith snails (barnacle Bob, and Turbo), a trocus snail (Speedy.... Man is he fast!) and a tiger conch who is as of yet nameless . Here's some updated pictures!
