This is it. My last build thread

I ran Versas for my AWC and had issues with them, seems like they lose calibration easily or continuous AWC after days and days affects them. Multiple times one pump will shut off randomly and it will take me days to figure it out. I have a my fish stuff in a closet under the stairs which I only check when needed. Maybe in your case you spot issues quicker.

I ended up getting ac infinity pumps for 94 bucks each and I wanted a controller which I think was 60. They change 3 gallons daily and no issues so far.

Thank for the heads up. I'll keep an eye on the calibration. I hope they hold up but we'll see. I did move them to the basement after I found out they are supposed push not pull. I saw something on ecotech's site stating they work 3 times harder pulling than pushing.

Wondering if I'm running out of food for my big snails? I have 3 about this size along with two pincushion urchins. They don't normally come out during the day which is why I'm wondering if they're running out of food. I can't feed them because the tangs would eat what ever I put in. Feeding them at night is not an option because my naso doesn't sleep. I had few sleepless nights this week and stayed out in the LR and the naso never stopped cruising around. Maybe I'll turn the light on over my 40g that I keep live rock in and see if I can get some algae growing. No fish so I could feed them if needed. Being big bulldozers I can't really put them in one of the other tanks.

Found out the cord on the tunze powerheads doesn't have to be centered at the top. It looks like that's where it should be so I've kept it there. Problem is I can't get the surface agitation I want in the MP100. The other night I decided to add a Nero 5 between the orcas aimed at the surface. It worked great. Then the next day SWA.com had a video up showing the tune reef360 and I see their oracas aimed upward. I took a screenshot and zoomed in and see the cords on the side. Not sure why I thought the cord had to be at top 🤔 The Nero is back on the shelf.
Two of my favorite cuc members.

And now we have agitation

Saw this critter in the sump of the 100. Not sure if it's a limpet or chiton but I think limpet because the shell isn't hinged. I had tiny limpets in the 300 I moved out of so I don't know if it grew in there or came in on the GLR. It's about 3/4" I'll probably
Leave it in the sump and maybe put a little nori in on a piece of rock and see how big I can get it to grow. I love finding critters.
