Is this overkill?

Hey team,

My tank dimensions are 27.5L x 19.7W x 15.7H and I've just mounted 2x 150 W DE halides 10 or so inches above the water level.
The aim is to be sps dominant but for a tank as small as mine is this overkill?

In the 90’s I used to run a single 150w iwasaki 6500k over my 15g, so no, it’s not overkill. Your sps will absolutely love it!
