Kessil A360W-E Schematics Available?

Anybody have, or know where I can get, schematics for the Kessil A360W-E lights? I picked up a used light with a non-functioning fan, and unfortunately it's not just a fan replacement job. The fan itself works fine when I hook it up elsewhere.

I could strip the coating and start tracing out the circuit, but it would sure be easier if I had a schematic to work with, and Kessil is unable to share it.

In general, repairing modern PCBs is next to impossible to do at home. The components have become so small and their soldering pads/leads are microscopic.

If I were kessil I would NEVER just hand people my intellectual property by releasing any form of wiring diagrams or schematics. Not saying they aren't out there, but dont count on anything official because that would be business suicide in this industry/market.

The repair side is actually fairly easy for me, I do electronics manufacturing for a living. Parts really aren't even all that small or difficult in the 360WE.

Like you said, Kessil isn't willing to share any official schematics. It used to be pretty common to have repair schematics available. Some industries it's still considered essential to doing business. Just not in the consumer world any longer.

I'll get it figured out one way or another. Not too many things it can be, it's either the 12v source or the switching transistor, and I'm slowly knocking down which parts are which.

Found it. The switching transistor for the fan is at location Q8, circled in the image below. Factory part is an MBT2222. I love when companies use industry standard parts as it's easy to identify what they are. It was obvious I was on the right track when I started to clip the leads off and the whole body of the transistor shattered, which is a dead giveaway that it's toast. Popped in a new MMBT4401 that I had on hand, and has very similar specs, and the fan is running perfect again.

Then I re-sealed it with some fresh silicone coating which I'll let cure overnight, and I've got me a fully working A360W-E Tuna Blue

Hi Hans I know this is an old post,any chance you can check D51 ,its a protection diode.I am seeing a short on this diode with my A360 W E Series Tuna Blue; causing the charger to do a safety protection.Fix Reef Guy in you tube used a drop in diode with body markings of "BZ0CA"and original component has "BZ" markings only.
