Just curious for anyone that only run white lights for peak levels and finish the day out with just blues.
I’ve been doing a fast ramp up in the morning with white only on for 4~ hours. My question is when people run just blues in the evening, is that a combo of royal blue, cool blue and violet or do people tend to just do the royal blue channel?
I’ve been cutting the violet and cool blue early but not sure if this is the correct approach.
Thanks for any feedback!

I'd be interested hearing more about this. I have a 75g tank with 3 AI Hydra 32's and ALL of the scene's I've tried so far, seem to be LOTS of blues..but never any Cool whites usually more than maybe 15% at max peak value. I personally like a little more white, so the tank is not always so blue all the time.

I run full spectrum for half the day then transition to a blue/violet dominate color scheme at night with heavy blue/violet for last two hours. Even late at night I run some white since I prefer that look. If I can’t tell that my Yellow Tang is yellow then i add more white light. My tank doesn’t have the crazy colors seen at the coral shows running full blues but everyone has to adjust light according to their taste.
