I really like this advice. Reminds of a professor I had in B School who said “There will be times when the best thing you can do is nothing.” Glad to know this holds true in reefing, too!Hard to say. I still get "kicked in the balls" by the hobby quite often after 1 year. But I think something many people told be when I started and I understood only with time was that patience is key. The tank goes through many ugly phases and crisis and sometimes the best thing to do it's just waiting. The tank needs time to build some balance and every time you perturbate the balance (e.g disturb the sediments or change lights) you end up with some mess.
