You guys are killin' me with lighting. Been looking at some mods. Peer pressure...not sure if your tanks are a result of good reefing or lighting. Maybe both.

Ok everyone who's followed this build this far , I have some news. Most of you know i also have an 80 gallon that I'm just starting, and you may also know, this biocube has been up for sale for a few months. I didn't want to move all my corals over to my new tank bc I want to keep vermetids out as long as I can and my biocube has vermetids in it. I have decided to convert the cube into a frag tank for the time and grow out the sps that is in it. I'll slowly be relocating most the live rock into the Sump and removing the sand bed. I will replace it with a frag rack where all the sps corals I currently have will be removed from the rock and placed on frag plugs or tiles. I feel like this will be easier to take care of/clean etc. while I focus more on my 80 gallon build. I'm excited to begin a new journey and I thank all of you who have followed along in this build. I will still be posting pics under this thread as progress moves towards converting to a frag tank.

With that being said I'm a little nervous, this is quite the change and I don't want to crash my tank. I think I will make changes as slow as possible starting with getting everything on a frag plug. I will move the fish over to the 80 gallon in a few weeks when I can move enough LR to catch them.

Holy cow that was tough work. I hope my sticks aren't as stressed as I am! Still got some cleaning up to do but I figured I'd give everything a break, this is where I am now!
