Prefilter with canister

Hi.
I have a canister sunsun hw 3000 and i'm thinking to use a prefilter on it.
If I use this one (linked) plugged in the canister i will lose power of hw 3000, making less filtration per hour?
Its a good choice to use a pré-filter, maybe become more easy to make cleans?

I think any additional equipment will lower flow. If your plumbing is pvc, additional length and/or fittings will also lower flow. Is there any chance you could fit in a sump on your setup? I think you’d be happy with the results.

Just clean it more often. I clean mine once a month

Hi.
I will need a overflow system, because the tank doesnt have a drop system.
And the space will not let me put a sump with 30% of tank size.
I have this tank and canister... thinking to put a HOB skimmer.

OBS: Its not a so small tank. Something like 95 Gallons.
Sorry for my english, but i need help. tks.

I use foam/ filter floss and carbon.
