Would a 36” fixture be adequate for a 48” standard 55 gallon tank?? Do the legs adjust that far out?

Spread would be adequate, but I hung mine rather than using the legs so can’t comment on that part.

SB doesn't make a 36 inch fixture....they do make a 32 inch fixture, and it states in the description that it fits from 32 - 48 inches.

I had the 32 and the legs were not long enough to fit over my 48” tank. *shrug*

That's good to know! I was simply quoting SB's descriptions.

And, on a four foot tank (especially with the center brace, my preference would be two 16 inch fixtures.....but that's just me.

Sorry, I meant 32". Is a single light good enough for a standard 55 gallon, if not, I'm likely to do 2 bloomspect BB leds

2 16” is actually a cheaper option as well. Is there truly a $65 benefit to the AI primes vs the sb reef?
