T5 Lighing Help

i am running a 48 inch 6 bulb t5 on a 120 reef..I am looking to buy new bulbs but not sure where to purchase or which specific bulbs to get.. Does anyone have recommendations for the combination of bulbs? thanks

i would go with ATI bulbs .. get the blue plus the Aquablue Special 12000K and the purple plus and run them in this combo

aqua +
blue +
purple +
blue +

but i do like a lil more blue in my tank but you can change it up too .. and replace one of the blues or purples with another aqua +

then just research them on line you can find them for a really good deal for 48" bulbs ..

is the aqua plus white or blue?...and what about super actinics?

aqua plus are more white then blue ..

X2 if you don't want a lot of blue replace a purple+ with a 6500k

I like to do 50/50 white/acnict, I have never changed my bulb combo.

Do you have a certain kelvin rating you're shooting for? I'd reccomend this combo for a good mix of color/growth:
ATI Blue+
ATI Purple+
ATI Blue+
ATI Blue+
GE 6500k
ATI Blue+

I just ordered all new bulbs from Bulk Reef Supply, best prices I found on them. I went with 3 ATI Blue Plus and 3 ATI Aquablue Special on my 120g.

This combo would work out well:

FRONT
Ati Blue+
Ati purple +
Ati blue+
Ati Aquablue special
Ati Blue+
Ati Blue+

I would stay away from t5 actinic bulbs, as the blue+ is a better option.
