It is kinda close to some suburban track housing. I agree it looks short. The skull is decent sized! must have been a big cat.That seems a bit short-faced for racoon or 'possum to me ... maybe take a comparative look at a cat skull? Cool finds, every one!

Amazing! so happy to have you here on this thread.David just told me about this thread. As a bit of background; I spend a lot of time with photography (now that I am retired). I enjoy nature photography the most because it gets me outdoors, often times in the early morning when no other folks are stirring. I live in Northern Virginia but there is a small park about 15 minutes from my house that has woods and wetlands habitat. I am probably there at least once or twice a week, so I will post shots just from there to keep the thread going.
