Stp, Great idea with the conduit. Did you just fasten that to your stand I would guess? I have customers ask me the best way to mount them also since alot of people dont wanna hang them from the ceiling.

i used a 3/4" conduit pipe. Total cost about $1.50. I love it so far.

I actually mounted them to the wall. I have a little room to adjust them up and down as I need to. The reason I mounted them on the wall and not the stand is because I have a light blue background I need to be able to pass a cleaning magnet between the tank and the rails. I think the hanner cost about $15 in parts from HD. I also sprayed them silver to finish them off. Let me know if you need some close up shots.

+1 on wall mount

Mine would shake a little from walking. Nothing serious but I am picky and just did not like the idea of it. Switched it to the wall and now it stays a lot more steady. I spray painted mine with white enamel and added an endcap. Debating on drilling a hole and running the a/c cord through it.
