Amazing colors. Do you know how long they live in captivity.

This could be a stupid question but I always wondered if the died prematurely because of their sheer size and feeding requirements.

We have some acantho's in one of our display tanks that have been thriving for several years. They get fed quite a bit

They are very easy to take care of low light medium flow . I am a big collector of these coral and have been keeping them for 10 or more year . I don't feed them very often at all maybe 2 times a month if even that and they thrive very well.

Care level is easy, low light, low-medium flow. I feed one to twice weekly with table shrimp, OMG they thrive!!! Love them a lot!!!

Man if i didn't have one close to that color pattern i would grab that up in a heartbeat .
