Looking to get a new light for one of my tanks, the dimensions are 36" Long x 20" wide x 22" Tall. I was looking at the AI prime because I am trying not to spend an arm and a leg, but they say the coverage range is only 24x24. Thoughts?

I wouldn't use just 1 for your tank. Need something with the right coverage.

Would a 3' one of these cover a 4' tank? I have a couple kessil 360s that I'm trying to upgrade a little. Not enough room for the 48

If a pair, you stand a good chance

If you are on a budget, I would go with a Nicrew hyper reef 150. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles but for under $200 you get a light that will cover 30" easily.
