I thought I would make a build thread for anyone else looking to convert the Juwel vision 260 to saltwater! This is my first saltwater tank but I do have a 180L tropical tank also.

I bought the tank second hand it has a few scratches which I will try and polish out but overall in good condition.

Spec:
  • Standard bioflow L filter with inbuilt heater and powerhead. (Mechanical and chemical filters)
  • Tunze DOC protien skimmer
  • T5 Juwel marine and blue bulbs with reflectors
  • Red Sea Coral Pro Salt

Quick update, parameters are all still stable and some more additions to the tank lately with a green mandarin, peppermint shrimps, live copepods and a coral beauty. I have decided to keep the internal filter housing which now contains Phorax and activated carbon with a floss filter for catching waste ( changed weekly) i have also added a uv filter inside the internal filter casing which worked great for keeping the tank looking clutter free!

Hi
I know its been a long time, was just wondering how and what uv filter you added to your existing internal filter?
